A disconnector is added to the arrester, when abnormalities occur and the arrester breaks down, short circuit current of power frequency makes the disconnector move so that earth terminal of the disconnector disengage automatically, components of arresters turn over and are out of operation to prevent the accident from becoming more serious which are easy for maintenance personnel to maintain and replace them timely.
